Deccan Chargers won by 55-run against Kochi Tuskers

Ishant Sharma produced the third best bowling effort in IPL history to set up Deccan Chargers' 55-run win against Kochi Tuskers and blitzed Kochi's batting line-up with a spell of 5 for 12. Kochi Tuskers Kerala's scorecard was stunningly woeful at the end of four sensational overs: 0, 4, 0, 0, 0, 0 were the scores of the batsmen sucker-punched by Ishant Sharma, who harassed them with seam and bounce. And Kochi never recovered from that soul-crushing spell.
Deccan Chargers 129 for 7 (Sangakkara 65, Vinay 3-27) beat Kochi Tuskers 74 (Ishant 5-12, Steyn 3-16) by 55 runs

IPL Live Delhi Daredevils v Royal Challengers Bangalore, IPL 2011, Delhi - Preview

After dull starts to the IPL 2011 tournament, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils taken courageous steps to improve their lucks;  for both teams the moves worked in their last games. The newly-prepared green strip at the Feroz Shah Kotla allowed David Warner and Virender Sehwag  to play their master strokes, as the ball came on to the bat nicely both Delhi openers help team to score tournament heights run, and the Delhi fast bowlers enjoyed the bounce they got from the track. For Bangalore, things changed because of new signing Chris Gayle, whose century helped turn around a trend that had seen Bangalore not manage an opening stand of more than seven in their previous four matches.

Daniel Vettori asks for IPL window in FTP

With the IPL once again putting to test - and with largely one-sided results - the debate of club versus country, Daniel Vettori believes that an official window for the IPL in the sport's annual calendar could settle the argument. One alternative for smaller boards would be to then go down the path that Vettori hopes New Zealand cricket will take when signing in on the Future Tours Programme for the next few years.
Speaking to ESPNcricinfo in Delhi, Vettori said the controversies such as Chris Gayle's spat with the West Indies board, and the discussions between the Indian and Sri Lankan boards over the early release of Lankans from the IPL for the England tour, would not arise if the IPL found its way into the international calendar as well.
